What is going well?
I have learnt how to use Reason to help me with composing my songs. I have also prepared my songs by writing them over the summer holidays.What didn't go well?
I have found it hard to find what I am looking for in my genre of dubstep. It has been hard to find/locate the best tunes However, I am noting where I do find what i/m looking for.
What do I need to work on next composition lesson?
Next lesson I need to work on getting used to using Reason.
What did I learn?
I learnt how to user a bit of reason in the lesson so that i can compose better.

What is going well?
I am starting to use garageband with the help of George finding out more dubstep tunes for my composition.
What didn't go well?
I still found it hard to put the tunes together for my song. It was also hard to find more tunes that haven't already been made.
What do I need to work on next composition lesson?
I need to work on finding more bits of dubstep and putting them together to create my composition.
What did I learn?
I learnt that it is hard to find dubstep that isn't already made so I might have to make it myself.11th October 2016
What is going well?
I made progress in my composition and I think that it was very good for my first go at Garage Band. I also had some more help by George and with the help of Mr Flowers with deciding what I had to achieve.
What didn't go well?
I didn't have much work done in the beginning of the lesson as George was showing me apps i could use to help out with my composition (which helped) However as I found it quite difficult to work on dubstep I had to change my genre to Dance so I have not got a lot of work.
What do I need to work on next composition lesson?
I need to work on getting more work done. I could do this by coming up with more ideas and put them into Garageband so I have more to work with. I could also have a play around with Garage Band to find out what other features I could use.
What did I learn?
I learnt that I should have picked a much easier and simple genre for my Composition as I hadn't done much work. I also learnt more about Garage Band's other features.

What is going well?
I added more into my composition and made it sound better. I managed to do this whilst having a bit of a play around with GarageBand.
What didn't go well?
When I put in the work that I did during the lesson it didn't sound right so I have to make it work somehow next lesson.
What do I need to work on next composition lesson?
Next lesson i need to work on making my composition work together to make it sound good and blend/transition into the next part of my composition.
What did I learn?
I learnt that I can edit my composition on GarageBand and add different instruments as well as practicing before recording. This allowed me to get a hold of what I was doing so I knew what to press when I recorded the real thing. As well as this, I know the timing which allows me to listen to my recording whilst recording the newer instrument.

What is going well?
I am still working on improving my composition and I'm adding more to make it work better together. As I do this I am also trying to blend the tunes/notes together. If I keep doing this I will get my composition done quicker and make it sound even better than it is now.
What didn't go well?
As I was working on my composition and trying to add more to it couldn't make the second, more classical bit fit in the beat I originally planned with the base beat. I plan on changing this up a bit to make it fit in better with my main base.What do I need to work on next composition lesson?
I need to work on fitting my composition together and adding more instruments into it to make it sound a little better. I could also work on my composition at home as well as taking some more ideas from other songs.
What did I learn?
I learnt how to edit my music in the tracks as well as how to loop and crop my work.

What is going well?
I'm adding more to my composition and beginning to add a bass line to it, improving it.
What didn't go well?
I'm not working very quickly and getting distracted very easily.
What do I need to work on?
I need to work on the bass for my composition as well as working quicker and more efficiently by adding more into it.
What did I learn?
I learnt that I can copy and paste a specific tune/note as many times so that I don't have to record the same thing over and over again.5th December 2016
What is going well?
I'm adding more and more to my Composition working more on my bass line.
What didn't go well?
I didn't get a lot of work done last lesson as I was looking into what else I could do with Garageband.
What do I need to work on?
I need to keep working on my bass in my composition. This is so that it has a nice beat and the song becomes catchy and/or good.
What did I learn?
I learnt that the bass is very important in a composition as it basically holds the song together.

What is going well?
Everything is going well as everything is going together quite nicely. This is good because it shows that I am getting further into my Composition. I've also been listening to more songs to get ideas for my composition such as My Ennard and I can't fix you.
What didn't go well?
Nothing as I am making sure i'm using my time in the lesson to create my composition without interruptions.
What do I need to work on?
I need to continue to work on my composition and make the bass better.
What did I learn?
I learnt that Trico is the cutest animal ever and that he gives me motivation to continue my work.

What is going well?
I think I have finished my first composition! I am able to concentrate more on my composition, making it better and better each time I have my music lesson or work on it more at home. I am also working on my 3rd composition so that I am prepared to continue it once i have finished my second composition

Nothing that I am aware of.

I need to work on developing other elements of my composition, focusing on the cord progression.

I'm working on my third composition and trying to finish it off soio that it sounds much better and the tempo woks well.
